College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon: Stanford vs. Colorado State

11:16 - This is it. As of right now, I’ve already been awake for more than 40 straight hours.

I’m taking Stanford by four, I’m watching them win and then I’m sleeping until Selection Sunday.

11:22 - I'm still on Kentucky/Kansas until the final horn sounds inside the Garden, but right now CSU is doubled up on Stanford, 12-6 after five minutes of play.

11:56 - CSU up 31-24 late in the first half on Stanford. Will be flipping over after Kentucky/Kansas.

12:02 - Stanford cuts the lead to 33-31 at the half.

12:17 - No more jokes. No more fun. No more commercials. Fingers on right hand hurt.

Ball State Vs. Northern Illinois: Huskies Win Sixth Straight, 41-38

The Northern Illinois Huskies will look to take one more step towards the MAC Championship Game when they host the upstart Ball State Cardinals Tuesday night.

Don't count BSU out of the conference race, however. The Cardinals stayed in the conference race with a 33-31 victory over Easter Michigan two weekends ago while the Huskies manhandled Bowling Green 45-14 in week eleven.

Ball State has come out of nowhere this season to be bowl-eligible at 6-3 so far on the season. This performance has been nothing short of remarkable by first-year head coach Pete Lembo. Five of their six wins have been by seven points or less.

The Huskies rebounded from a 2-3 start and have won five in a row, most by blowout. NIU has only lost twice in the past decade at home to Ball State.

Game date, time: 8:00 pm ET, Tuesday, Nov 15

Location: Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium, DeKalb, IL

TV channel: ESPNU

Spread: No. Illinois favored by 19.

Series history: Ball State leads, 18-10.
